Description
The ORGANASORB™ drum contains 165 lbs. of activated carbon and requires a flow rate of 5-10 gallons per minute (GPM) with a target of 7, and an operating pressure of no greater than 7 psi. Lower flow rates may be necessary for some applications.
PARAMETERS & PRECAUTIONS:
- Drum Material – HMW Polyethylene with integral lid
- Drum Dimensions – 23” Diameter x 36” Height
- Drum Weight – 165 lbs. Activated Carbon, approximately 350 lbs. wetted
- Temperature & Pressure – Do not exceed 140°F and 7 psi
- Inlet Dimensions – ¾” threaded PVC inlet FPT coupling
- Outlet Dimensions – 1” threaded PVC outlet FPT coupling
- Wet activated carbon can deplete oxygen from air in enclosed spaces. If used in an enclosed space, procedures for work in an oxygen deficient environment should be followed. Do not attempt to open the drum.
