Description
The COLSTAR plating process is easy to operate and can be plated over bright or satin nickel. Here are some operational recommendations:
- Digital rectifier recommended – operating voltage of 0.5V maximum
- Sulfur-free nickel slab anodes are required
- Anodes are not consumed and will last for years
- Chemical make up – 4 proprietary components, nickel chloride & water
- The tin component will oxidize – no air agitation and tank cover recommended
