Filter Presses
Filter presses are most commonly used at the end of chemical precipitation waste treatment systems, and are designed to remove the sludge formed in the process. The filtering capacity is dependent on the size and quantity of the filter plates in the press.
- Filter Press Size – 1 cubic foot up to 70 cubic foot
- Filter Plate Size – Commonly Stocked – 470mm, 630mm, 800mm, 1000mm, 1200mm, and 1500mm
- Custom press and plate sizes available
- Filter plate cloths, gasketing and installation equipment are also available

Description
In a conventional metal finishing waste treatment system, metals are precipitated at a high pH, coagulated and flocculated, allowed to settle and then pumped through a filter press.
